1.M.U.T.-IIISE other DTC check
Check whether the following DTCs is set.
  • DTC No. P1C66-07 QC Contactor driver failure
Is the DTC set?
Troubleshoot the set DTCs (Refer to DTC No. P1C66-07 QC Contactor driver failure) .

2.Check of the high-voltage fuse (225 A) for quick charging
danger
  • Carry out the check on the high-voltage circuit while reading carefully the precautions on handling a high-voltage vehicle.
  • Wear the specified protection equipment during the check.
Check the continuity of the high-voltage fuse (225 A) for quick charging in junction box (Refer to CHECK AND REPLACEMENT OF HIGH-VOLTAGE FUSE INSIDE THE JUNCTION BOX).
Is the check result normal?
Replace the high-voltage fuse for quick charging (Refer to CHECK AND REPLACEMENT OF HIGH-VOLTAGE FUSE INSIDE THE JUNCTION BOX).

3.Check the installation of the EV home & quick charger cable.
Check that the terminals of the EV home & quick charger cable is installed to the junction box with specified torque.
Is the check result normal?
Repair the installation.

4.Visually check of the inside of the junction box
danger
  • Carry out the check on the high-voltage circuit while reading carefully the precautions on handling a high-voltage vehicle.
  • Wear the specified protection equipment during the check.
Visually check that there is no burnout, damage, foreign material inside the junction box.
Is the check result normal?
Replace the junction box (Refer to JUNCTION BOX REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION).

5.Check of the quick charging contactor
danger
  • Carry out the check on the high-voltage circuit while reading carefully the precautions on handling a high-voltage vehicle.
  • Wear the specified protection equipment during the check.
Check the quick charging contactor (Refer to QUICK CHARGING CONTACTOR CHECK).
Is the check result normal?
Replace the quick charging contactor.

6.Visually check of the EV home & quick charger cable
danger
  • Carry out the check on the high-voltage circuit while reading carefully the precautions on handling a high-voltage vehicle.
  • Wear the specified protection equipment during the check.
Visually check that there is no burnout, damage, foreign material on the EV home & quick charger cable between junction box and quick charge port.
Is the check result normal?
Replace the EV home & quick charger cable (Refer to EV HOME & QUICK CHARGER CABLE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION).

7.Check of the drive battery rear cable (junction box)
danger
  • Carry out the check on the high-voltage circuit while reading carefully the precautions on handling a high-voltage vehicle.
  • Wear the specified protection equipment during the check.
Check whether the terminals of the drive battery rear cable (junction box) is connected properly.
Is the check result normal?
Repair the installation.

8.Visually check of the drive battery rear cable (junction box)
danger
  • Carry out the check on the high-voltage circuit while reading carefully the precautions on handling a high-voltage vehicle.
  • Wear the specified protection equipment during the check.
Visually check that there is no burnout, damage, foreign material on the drive battery rear cable (junction box) between drive battery and junction box.
Is the check result normal?
Replace the drive battery rear cable (junction box) (Refer to DRIVE BATTERY CABLE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION).

9.Check the installation of the drive battery rear cable (junction box).
danger
  • Carry out the check on the high-voltage circuit while reading carefully the precautions on handling a high-voltage vehicle.
  • Wear the specified protection equipment during the check.
Check that the terminals of the drive battery rear cable (junction box) is installed to the junction box with specified torque.
Is the check result normal?
Repair the installation.

10.Check whether the DTC is set again.
(1) Erase the set DTC.
(2) Charge the drive battery by using the quick charger (external power supply equipment) other than the defective one.
