The engine ECU outputs diagnostic trouble codes for the refueling control related parts. Hence, if the following warning screen is displayed on the multi-information display of the combination meter, check if a diagnostic trouble code has been output on the engine ECU, and if a diagnostic trouble code is output, perform troubleshooting for said diagnostic trouble code (refer to TROUBLESHOOTING - Diagnosis Code Classification Table DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART

Refueling system inspection
The “Close the filler opening” or “Refueling preparation is complete” is displayed on the warning screen even after closing the fuel filler lid
