DIAGNOSIS
STEP 1. Using scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), check the data list. <CMU>
(1) Operate the electric motor switch with depressing the brake pedal and turn ON the power supply mode of electric motor switch.
(2) Select "CMU" from System select Screen of the scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE).
(3) Select the "Special Function" from the main CMU screen.
(4) Select the "Reset" from the Special Function screen
(5) Check to the CMU data list (Refer to ).
  • Item No.89: A/D conversion (Temp. sensor 1)
  • Item No.90: A/D conversion (Temp. sensor 2)
  • Item No.91: A/D conversion (Temp. sensor 3)
  • Item No.92: A/D conversion (Temp. sensor 4)
  • Item No.93: A/D conversion (Temp. sensor 5)
OK: Normal
Is the check result normal?
Intermittent malfunction (Refer to GROUP 00 - How to Use Troubleshooting/Inspection Service Points - How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunctions ).
Remove the battery tray cover (Refer to ). Replace the cell monitoring unit (CMU) corresponding to the diagnostic trouble code being set (Refer to ). Then, assemble the main drive lithium-ion battery assembly (Refer to ). Then go to Step 2.

STEP 2. Test the OBD-II drive cycle.
(1) Carry out a test drive with the drive cycle pattern. Refer to OBD-II Drive Cycle - Pattern 1 .
(2) Check if the DTC is set.
Is DTC set?
Retry the troubleshooting.
The inspection is complete.
