4.CHECK ABS ACTUATOR AND ELECTRIC UNIT (CONTROL UNIT) POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT
5.CHECK WHEEL SENSOR AND SENSOR ROTOR
- Disconnect 12V battery negative terminal.
- Disconnect wheel sensor harness connector.
- Remove dust and foreign matter adhered to the wheel sensor and sensor rotor with a vacuum dust collector through the front left wheel sensor mounting hole.
caution | Install wheel sensor with no backlash and float, and tighten the mounting bolt to the specified torque. |

8.PERFORM DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (2)
10.CHECK DATA MONITOR (2)
11.PERFORM DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (3)

14.PERFORM DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (4)
15.CHECK WHEEL SENSOR HARNESS
16.CHECK DATA MONITOR (4)
17.PERFORM DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (5)
18.REPLACE WHEEL SENSOR (2)
19.PERFORM DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (6)
20.REPLACE SENSOR ROTOR
With M.U.T.-III SE- Disconnect 12V battery negative terminal.
- Replace the front left sensor rotor.
- Connect 12V battery negative terminal.
- Erase Diagnostic Trouble Code result for “ABS".
- Electric motor switch OFF (Auto ACC function OFF) → ON → OFF (Auto ACC function OFF).
- Electric motor switch ON.
- Drive the vehicle at approximately 50 km/h (31 MPH) or more for approximately 2 minutes.
note | Vehicle must be driven after repair or replacement to erase the previous DTCs. |
- Stop the vehicle.
- Electric motor switch OFF (Auto ACC function OFF).
- Electric motor switch ON.
note | Wait at least 10 seconds after electric motor switch ON. |
- Perform Diagnostic Trouble Code for “ABS".
Is DTC “C106A-55" detected?
