TROUBLE JUDGMENT
Check Condition
The power supply mode of the electric motor switch is ON (READY indicator: ON) or during charging.
Judgment Criterion
The low output voltage in the 12V system is detected.

Malfunction of the 12V battery
Malfunction of the On Board Charger (OBC)/DC-DC converter
The malfunction of the output line between the 12V battery terminal and DC-DC converter terminal.

The DTC No. P1AA2-16 may be set due to the following factor.
• Excessive electrical load
DIAGNOSIS
Required Special Tools:
MB992744: Vehicle communication interface-Lite (V.C.I.-Lite)
MB992745: V.C.I.-Lite main harness A
MB992747: V.C.I.-Lite USB cable short
MB992748: V.C.I.-Lite USB cable long

12V battery condition check
(1)
Check the 12V battery terminal for looseness and foreign materials.

Perform an 12V battery test (Refer to Power Supply, Ground & Circuit Elements - Battery Inspection
Work Flow

Is the check result normal?
Repair or replace the 12V battery (Refer to Power Supply, Ground & Circuit Elements - Battery
Removal and Installation
) . Then,

Check whether the DTC is set again.

Erase the set DTC.
(2)
Change the power supply mode of the electric motor switch to ON (READY indicator: ON).

Check whether the DTC is set again.
Is the DTC set?
Replace the On Board Charger (OBC)/DC-DC converter (Refer to
