DTC No. P1C6A-73: Welding of QC Contactor P-sided
 
 
 
 
TROUBLE JUDGMENT
Check Condition
  • When the quick charging/external power supply is finished
Judgment Criterion
  • The welding of the quick charging contactor P is detected.
 
 
TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS
  • Malfunction of the quick charging contactor
  • Malfunction of the PHEV-ECU system
  • Malfunction of the On Board Charger (OBC)/DC-DC converter
noteThe DTC No. P1C6A-73 may be set due to the following external factor.
• Malfunction of the quick charger/external power supply equipment.
 
 
DIAGNOSIS
Required Special Tools:
  • MB992744: Vehicle communication interface-Lite (V.C.I.-Lite)
  • MB992745: V.C.I.-Lite main harness A
  • MB992747: V.C.I.-Lite USB cable short
  • MB992748: V.C.I.-Lite USB cable long
1.M.U.T.-IIISE other system DTC
Check whether the PHEV-ECU sets the DTC.
  • DTC No. P1A60-11 Quick Charger Inlet Voltage Monitoring Circuit Low
  • DTC No. P1A60-15 Quick Charger Inlet Voltage Monitoring Circuit High/Open
Is the DTC set?
 
2.Check of the quick charging contactor
Check the quick charging contactor (Refer to QUICK CHARGING CONTACTOR CHECK).
Is the check result normal?
Replace the quick charging contactor.
 
3.Check whether the DTC is set again.
(1) Erase the set DTC.
(2) Charge the drive battery by using the quick charger (external power supply equipment) other than the defective one.
(3) Check whether the DTC is set again.
Is the DTC set?
Repalce the On Board Charger (OBC)/DC-DC converter (Refer to ON BOARD CHARGER (OBC) &DC-DC CONVERTER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION).
Ask the user to inspect the quick charger/external power supply equipment.
