1. Remove the second seat assembly (Refer to Body Interior - Seat, Removal and Installation, Second Seat Assembly, Removal and Installation Removal and Installation
). 2. Remove the floor inspection lid (RH). (Refer to Body Exterior Doors, Roof & Vehicle Security - Exterior, Loose Panel Removal and InstallationREMOVAL AND INSTALLATION) 3. Disconnect floor sub-harness, fuel vapor hose, fuel vapor hose A. (Refer to Fuel Tank Disassembly and Assembly for connecting fuel vapor hose, fuel vapor hose A connectorsFUEL TANK DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY) 4. Remove the fuel tank solenoid valve mounting nut.
5. Pull out the fuel tank solenoid valve from the service hole.
6. Replace the fuel tank solenoid valve with a new one.
7. Install the fuel tank solenoid valve and tighten the mounting nut to the specified torque.Tightening torque: 5.5 ± 1.5 N·m (49 ± 12 in-lb)
8. Connect floor sub-harness, fuel vapor hose, fuel vapor hose A. (Refer to Fuel Tank Disassembly and Assembly for connecting fuel vapor hose, fuel vapor hose A connectors FUEL TANK DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY)| caution | When connecting the floor sub-harness connector, return the vinyl tape and cable ties to their original state before connecting. |
9. Install the floor inspection lid (RH). (Refer to Body Exterior Doors, Roof & Vehicle Security - Exterior, Loose Panel Removal and InstallationREMOVAL AND INSTALLATION) 10.
