CAN BUS DIAGNOSTICS TABLE

During diagnosis, a DTC associated with another system may be set when the ignition switch is turned on with connector(s) disconnected. After completing the repair, confirm all systems for DTC(s). If DTC(s) are set, erase them all.

This diagnosis applies only to the CAN bus lines. If a different system is defective, proceed to the applicable diagnosis section for each system. Observe the diagnostic procedure below only when the CAN bus line is defective. Also, see the CAN Bus Diagnostic Procedure for how to diagnose CAN bus lines

The "X" in the CAN bus diagnostics table indicates the system with diagnostic results of "NC" or "communication error."
Start the CAN bus diagnostics table check with CAN-C.
Since the BSW-ECU (master) stores the CAN bus line abnormality (DTC C2332) from the BSW-ECU (master) to the BSW-ECU (slave), it is excluded from the target of the CAN bus diagnostic of GROUP 54C. If "NC" is displayed only in the "BSW (SUB)" item on the scan tool screen, read the DTC of the BSW-ECU (master) and perform the corresponding troubleshooting.
