warningBe careful not to subject the SRS-ECU to any shocks during removal and installation of the transaxle control cable assembly.
cautionTo remove and installation the SRS-ECU, refer to GROUP 52B-Service Precautions and SRS Control Unit .
Post-installation operation
  • Shift lock mechanism check (Refer to .)
  • Selector lever operation check (Refer to .)
  • Transmission range switch and control cable adjustment (Refer to .)
Removal steps
•Move the selector lever to the "N" position.
•Floor console panel (Refer to GROUP 52A - Front Floor Console Assembly .)
1.Selector lever knob
2.Shift indicator panel
•Floor console rear base (Refer to GROUP 52A - Front Floor Console Assembly .)
3.Transaxle control cable connection (selector lever side)
•Connectors and harnesses connections
4.Selector lever assembly
•SRS-ECU, SRS-ECU harness cover (Refer to GROUP 52B - SRS-ECU .)
•Air cleaner body (Refer to GROUP 15 - Air Cleaner .)
•Battery and battery tray (Refer to GROUP 54A - Battery .)
5.Transaxle control cable connection (transaxle side)
