DTC U1195: Coding not completed
 
 
cautionIf DTC No. U1195 is set, be sure to diagnose the CAN bus line.
 
 
TROUBLE JUDGMENT
If the vehicle information data is not registered to the camera-ECU, the camera-ECU sets DTC No. U1195.
note"!" mark is displayed on the vehicle icon when DTC No. U1195 is set.
 
 
TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS
  • Variant coding not performed
  • The ETACS-ECU may be defective
  • The camera-ECU may be defective
  • The CAN bus may be defective
 
 
DIAGNOSIS
STEP 1. Using scan tool (M.U.T.-III), diagnose the CAN bus line.
Use the scan tool (M.U.T.-III) to diagnose the CAN bus lines.
Is the check result normal?
Go to Step 2.
Repair the CAN bus line (Refer to GROUP 54C - Troubleshooting ).
 
STEP 2. Using scan tool (M.U.T.-III), read the ETACS diagnostic trouble code.
Check if DTC is set in the ETACS-ECU.
Is the DTC set?
Diagnose the ETACS (Refer to ).
Go to Step 3.
 
STEP 3. Recheck for diagnostic trouble code.
Check again if the DTC is set in the camera-ECU.
(1) Erase the DTC.
(2) Turn the ignition switch from the "LOCK" (OFF) position to the "ON" position.
(3) Check if DTC is set.
Is the DTC set?
Replace the camera-ECU (Refer to ).
The trouble can be an intermittent malfunction (Refer to GROUP 00 - How to use Troubleshooting/Inspection Service Points - How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunction ).
