DTC C1558 Invalid Data Received of Wheel speed information
caution
If there is any problem in the CAN bus lines, an incorrect DTC may be set. Prior to this diagnosis, diagnose the CAN bus lines (Refer to GROUP 54C, CAN Bus Diagnostics Table ).
Whenever ECU is replaced, ensure that the CAN bus lines are normal.
OPERATION
EPS-ECU receives wheel speed information from the ASC-ECU.
FUNCTION
Based on the wheel speed information the EPS-ECU receives, the EPS-ECU performs the control to improve the steering wheel return.
TROUBLE JUDGMENT
Check Conditions
The power supply circuit system DTC (No. C1540, C1541) is not set.
Judgment Criterion
When abnormal wheel speed information is received from the ASC-ECU.
Fail Safe, Back Up Function
The EPS-ECU sets DTC No. C1558.

DIAGNOSIS
1. Check the service data "Item No. 24: Front left wheel speed, Item No. 25: Front right wheel speed, Item No. 26: Rear left wheel speed, Item No. 27: Rear right wheel speed" and If there is an abnormality, perform troubleshooting for ASC-ECU (Refer to GROUP 35C - Troubleshooting ).
