SOLENOID VALVE CHECK
1. While pressing A in the figure, turn B counterclockwise to unlock the CVT assembly connector, and disconnect the connector.
2. Measure the resistance between the terminals of the applicable solenoid valves and the ground.

Standard value:
Terminal No.Applicable solenoid valveResistance value Ω
1Line pressure solenoid valve
  • 5.5 - 7.0 [fluid temperature: 20°C (68°F)]
  • 6.0 - 8.0 [fluid temperature: 50°C (122°F)]
  • 6.5 - 8.5 [fluid temperature: 80°C (176°F)]
2Primary pressure solenoid valve
3Secondary pressure solenoid valve
4Select solenoid valve
5Lock-up solenoid valve

3. When the resistance is within the standard value, check the power supply circuits.
4. When the resistance is outside the standard value, check the valve body harness (Refer to ).
(1) If the valve body harness is defective, replace it (Refer to ).
(2)
cautionEach solenoid valve cannot be removed or replaced as a single unit.
If the valve body wiring harness is normal, replace the valve body assembly (Refer to ).
