Check condition <DTC No. P1C52-49>
  • The On Board Charger (OBC)/DC-DC converter power supply voltage is 10.0 to 16.0 volts.
Check condition <DTC No. P1C53-49>
  • Charge permission from PHEV-ECU: ON
  • The charger capacitor voltage is 240 volts or more, and less than the target voltage <200 volts input>
  • The charger capacitor voltage is 120 volts or more, and less than the target voltage <100 volts input>
Check condition <DTC No. P1C54-49>
  • Charge permission from PHEV-ECU: ON
  • Charger voltage command value is more than 0 volt.
  • The input voltage is 80 to 269 volts.
Judgment Criterion <DTC No. P1C52-49>
  • The charger capacitor voltage is more than 500 volts for 0.3 second or more.
Judgment Criterion <DTC No. P1C53-49>
  • The charger capacitor voltage is less than the value subtracting 5 volts from the target voltage for 10 seconds or more.
Judgment Criterion <DTC No. P1C54-49>
  • The charger capacitor voltage is less than the value, calculated by input voltage × square root of 2 × 0.85, for 8 seconds or more.

DIAGNOSIS
Required Special Tools:
  • MB992744: Vehicle communication interface-Lite (V.C.I.-Lite)
  • MB992745: V.C.I.-Lite main harness A
  • MB992747: V.C.I.-Lite USB cable short
  • MB992748: V.C.I.-Lite USB cable long
1.Test the OBD-II drive cycle.
(1) Carry out a test drive with the drive cycle pattern. Refer to OBD-II Drive Cycle OBD-II DRIVE CYCLE.
(2) Check the DTC.
Is the DTC set?
Repalce the On Board Charger (OBC)/DC-DC converter (Refer to ON BOARD CHARGER (OBC) &DC-DC CONVERTER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION). Then,
The trouble can be an intermittent malfunction (Refer to General Information - How to Use Troubleshooting/Inspection Service Points, How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunctions HOW TO COPE WITH INTERMITTENT MALFUNCTIONS).
 
2.Test the OBD-II drive cycle.
(1) Carry out a test drive with the drive cycle pattern. Refer to OBD-II Drive Cycle OBD-II DRIVE CYCLE.
(2) Check the DTC.
Is the DTC set?
Retry the troubleshooting.
The procedure is complete.
