RESOLVER CIRCUIT INSPECTION
Required Special Tools:
  • MB991223: Wiring harness set
  • MB992006: Extra fine probe

FRONT MOTOR RESOLVER CIRCUIT INSPECTION
1. Disconnect the connector of the power drive unit.
2. Visually check that there is no damage and foreign materials.
  • When it's normal,
  • When it's not normal, repair the connector(s) or harness.
3. Disconnect the front motor connector (8 pins).
4. Visually check that there is no damage and foreign materials.
  • When it's normal,
  • When it's not normal, repair the connector(s) or harness.
5. With disconnecting the front motor connector (8 pins), check the continuity between the harness side connector terminals of the power drive unit.

  • If the resistance value is in the standard value range, the front motor resolver circuit is normal.
  • If the resistance value is not in the standard value range,
9. Check the EV oil cooling system (Refer to OIL LEAK CHECK).
