TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS

Malfunction of the power drive unit
The vehicle specification writing is not completed.

DIAGNOSIS

Required Special Tools:

MB992744: Vehicle communication interface-Lite (V.C.I.-Lite)
MB992745: V.C.I.-Lite main harness A
MB992747: V.C.I.-Lite USB cable short
MB992748: V.C.I.-Lite USB cable long

1.Check whether the DTC is set again.

(1) The vehicle specification writing for power drive unit is completed (Refer to VEHICLE SPECIFICATION WRITING

(2) Erase the set DTC.

(3) Change the power supply mode of the electric motor switch to OFF, then wait for 2 minutes or more in key lock condition. (Check that the P indicator on the selector lever turns off.)

(4) Change the power supply mode of the electric motor switch to ON (READY indicator: OFF).

(5) Check whether the DTC is set again.

Is the DTC set?

Replace the power drive unit (Refer to POWER DRIVE UNIT REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

The procedure is complete.
