VEHICLE SPECIFICATION WRITING
Required Special Tools:
- MB992744: Vehicle communication interface-Lite (V.C.I.-Lite)
- MB992745: V.C.I.-Lite main harness A
- MB992747: V.C.I.-Lite USB cable short
- MB992748: V.C.I.-Lite USB cable long
WRITING THE VEHICLE SPECIFICATION IN THE POWER DRIVE UNIT
| caution | When the power drive unit is replaced, perform the vehicle specification writing. |
Using the M.U.T.-IIISE, write the vehicle specification in the power drive unit by the following procedures.
1. On the "System selection" screen, select "PDU".
2. Select "Configuration", then select "Automatic Configuration".
3. Write the vehicle specification by following the instructions on the screen.| note | For the detailed procedures, refer to "M.U.T.-III SE User's Manual". |
WRITING THE VEHICLE SPECIFICATION IN THE REMCU
| caution | When the REMCU is replaced, perform the vehicle specification writing. |
Using the M.U.T.-IIISE, write the vehicle specification in the REMCU by the following procedures.
1. On the "System selection" screen, select "R-MCU".
2. Select "Configuration", then select "Automatic Configuration".
3. Write the vehicle specification by following the instructions on the screen.| note | For the detailed procedures, refer to "M.U.T.-III SE User's Manual". |
