1.M.U.T.-IIISE other DTC check
Check whether the DTC, which has the higher priority than this DTC, is set. (Refer to DTC Inspection Priority Chart).
Is the DTC set?
Troubleshoot the set DTC (Refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART). Then,

2.Check the EV fluid level for rise.
(1) Park the vehicle on a level surface.
(2) Remove the oil level plug of the generator.
(3) Check that the oil does not come out from the oil level plug hole.
Is the check result normal?

3.Check the front transaxle fluid level for drop.
Check that the transaxle fluid level drops by looking it from the filler plug hole of the front transaxle.
Is the check result normal?
Replace the electric oil pump (Refer to ELECTRIC OIL PUMP REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION).
Replace all of the EV oil cooling system components. Then,

4.Check the EV fluid level for drop.
Check that the EV fluid level drops by looking it from the oil level plug hole of the generator.
Is the check result normal?
Replace the electric oil pump (Refer to ELECTRIC OIL PUMP REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION). Then,

5.Check the front transaxle fluid level for rise.
(1) Park the vehicle on a level surface.
(2) Remove the filler plug of the front transaxle.
(3) Check that the fluid does not come out from the filler plug hole.
Is the check result normal?
Determine the part from where the EV fluid is leaked, and repair or replace it. Then,
Replace all of the EV oil cooling system components. Then,

6.Test the OBD-II drive cycle.
(1) Carry out a test drive with the drive cycle pattern. Refer to OBD-II Drive Cycle OBD-II DRIVE CYCLE.
(2) Check the DTC.
Is the DTC set?
Retry the troubleshooting.
The procedure is complete.
