DTC No. U1E02-87 LIN Communication Malfunction Between PHEV-ECU and E_PARK
DTC No. U1E07-87 Confirmed Trans error for LIN3
 
 
 
 
DTC SET CONDITION
Check Condition
  • The IGCT power supply is ON.
Judgment Criterion <DTC No. U1E02-87>
  • Malfunction on the LIN communication with the electrical parking driver unit is detected.
Judgment Criterion <DTC No. U1E07-87>
  • The abnormal signal sent from the LIN3 line is detected.
 
 
TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS
  • Malfunction of the LIN bus line (LIN3)
  • Malfunction of the electrical parking driver unit
  • Malfunction of the PHEV-ECU
 
 
DIAGNOSIS
Required Special Tools:
  • MB992744: Vehicle communication interface-Lite (V.C.I.-Lite)
  • MB992745: V.C.I.-Lite main harness A
  • MB992747: V.C.I.-Lite USB cable short
  • MB992748: V.C.I.-Lite USB cable long
  • MB991223: Wiring harness set
  • MB992006: Extra fine probe
1.Check wiring harness and connectors for damage.
Check the wiring harness and connectors in LIN3 line between PHEV-ECU connector and electrical parking driver unit for damage.
Is the check result normal?
Repair the connector(s) or wiring harness.
 
2.Check of short to ground circuit and open circuit in LIN3 line between PHEV-ECU and electrical parking driver unit
Is the check result normal?
Repair the connector(s) or wiring harness.
 
3.Check whether the DTC is set again.
Is the DTC set?
Replace the electrical parking driver unit (Refer to Transaxle - Electrical Parking Driver Unit REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION), then go to .
The trouble can be an intermittent malfunction (Refer to General Information - How to Use Troubleshooting/Inspection Service Points, How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunctions HOW TO COPE WITH INTERMITTENT MALFUNCTIONS).
 
4.Check whether the DTC is set again.
Is the DTC set?
Replace the PHEV-ECU (Refer to PHEV-ECU REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION).
