Check whether the PHEV-ECU sets the following DTCs.- DTC No. P1A37-12 Gear Lever Position Sensor 1 Circuit-high
- DTC No. P1A38-11 Gear Lever Position Sensor 1 Circuit-low
- DTC No. P1A39-12 Gear Lever Position Sensor 2 Circuit-high
- DTC No. P1A3A-11 Gear Lever Position Sensor 2 Circuit-low
- DTC No. P1A3B-12 Gear Lever Position Sensor 3 Circuit-high
- DTC No. P1A3C-11 Gear Lever Position Sensor 3 Circuit-low
- DTC No. P1A3D-12 Gear Lever Position Sensor 4 Circuit-high
- DTC No. P1A3E-11 Gear Lever Position Sensor 4 Circuit-low
- DTC No. P1A3F-12 Gear Lever Position Sensor 5 Circuit-high
- DTC No. P1A40-11 Gear Lever Position Sensor 5 Circuit-low
- DTC No. P1A41-12 Gear Lever Position Sensor 6 Circuit-high
- DTC No. P1A42-11 Gear Lever Position Sensor 6 Circuit-low
- DTC No. P1A43-12 Gear Lever Position Sensor 7 Circuit-high

Is the DTC set?
3.Check of short to ground circuit and open circuit in shift sensor signal lines between PHEV-ECU and selector lever
Check the following lines for short to ground circuit and open circuit.- SF01line
- SF02line
- SF03line
- SF04line
- SF05line
- SF06line
- SF07line
- SF08line
Is the check result normal?
Repair the connector(s) or wiring harness. Then,
4.Test the OBD-II drive cycle.
(1) Carry out a test drive with the drive cycle pattern. Refer to OBD-II Drive Cycle OBD-II DRIVE CYCLE. (2) Check the DTC.
Is the DTC set?
The procedure is complete.
5.Test the OBD-II drive cycle.
(1) Carry out a test drive with the drive cycle pattern. Refer to OBD-II Drive Cycle OBD-II DRIVE CYCLE. (2) Check the DTC.
Is the DTC set?
Retry the troubleshooting. The procedure is complete.
