2.Check of continuity at BCM connector
(1) Disconnect the connector, and measure at the wiring harness side.
(2) Check the continuity between the BCM connector (terminal No. 79) and body ground.OK: No continuity
Is the check result normal?
3.Check of short to ground circuit in signal line between BCM connector and spiral cable
Check the signal line between the BCM connector (terminal No. 79) and spiral cable.Is the check result normal?
Repair the connector(s) or wiring harness.
4.Check of continuity at regeneration level selector connector
(1) Disconnect the connector, and measure at the wiring harness side of the equipment.
(2) Check the continuity between the regeneration level selector connector (terminal No. 32) and body ground.OK: No continuity
(3) Check the continuity between the regeneration level selector connector (terminal No. 32) and regeneration level selector connector (terminal No. 29).OK: No continuity
Is the check result normal?
5.Check whether the DTC is set again.
(1) Erase the set DTC.
(2) Change the power supply mode of the electric motor switch to ON (READY indicator: OFF).
(3) Wait for 1 minute or more.
(4) Check whether the DTC is set again.
Is the DTC set?
The trouble can be an intermittent malfunction (Refer to General Information - How to Use Troubleshooting/Inspection Service Points, How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunctions HOW TO COPE WITH INTERMITTENT MALFUNCTIONS).
6.Check whether the DTC is set again.
(1) Erase the set DTC.
(2) Change the power supply mode of the electric motor switch to ON (READY indicator: OFF).
(3) Wait for 1 minute or more.
(4) Check whether the DTC is set again.
Is the DTC set?
