REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
caution
When the knock sensor is replaced, initialise the learned value using scan tool (M.U.T.-III SE) (Refer to
INITIALISATION PROCEDURE FOR LEARNING VALUE IN MFI ENGINE
).
When removing or installing the knock sensor, be careful not to apply impact to the sensor.
Do not reuse the knock sensor that has been dropped.

Set the connector of the knock sensor to the area shown in the figure, and tighten the knock sensor to the specified torque.
Tightening torque: 20 ± 2 N·m (15 ± 1 ft-lb)
