Diagnosis Procedure
1.CHECK Power liftgate REQUEST SWITCH INPUT SIGNAL
  1. Ignition switch OFF.
  2. Disconnect power liftgate opener switch connector.
  3. Check voltage between power liftgate opener switch harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

2.CHECK Power liftgate REQUEST SWITCH CIRCUIT
  1. Disconnect Keyless operation key unit connector.
  2. Check continuity between power liftgate opener switch harness connector and Keyless operation key unit harness connector.

  3. Check continuity between power liftgate opener switch harness connector and ground.

Replace Keyless operation key unit. Refer to Removal and Installation.
Repair or replace harness.
 
3.CHECK Power liftgate REQUEST SWITCH GROUND CIRCUIT
Check continuity between power liftgate opener switch harness connector and ground.

4.CHECK Power liftgate REQUEST SWITCH
