STEP 1. Check joint connector (CAN2) C-202, AWD-ECU connector C-228, intermediate connector C-27 for loose, corroded or damaged terminals, or terminals pushed back in the connector.
STEP 2. Check the wiring harness between joint connector (CAN2) C-202 and AWD-ECU connector C-228 for open circuit.

(1) Disconnect joint connector (CAN2) C-202 and AWD-ECU connector C-228, and check the wiring harness.
(2) Check the wiring harness between joint connector (CAN2) C-202 (terminal No.8) and AWD-ECU connector C-228 (terminal No.5)OK: Continuity exists (2 ohms or less)
(3) Check the wiring harness between joint connector (CAN2) C-202 (terminal No.19) and AWD-ECU connector C-228 (terminal No.13)OK: Continuity exists (2 ohms or less)
Is the wiring harness between joint connector (CAN2) C-202 and AWD-ECU connector C-228 in good condition?
Check the power supply circuit of the AWD-ECU. Refer to GROUP 27C, Multiselect AWD Diagnosis . Repair the wiring harness between joint connector (CAN2) C-202 and AWD-ECU connector C-228.
