DIAGNOSIS
Required Special Tools
  • MB991223: Wiring harness set
  • MB992006: Extra fine probe
STEP 1. Perform the continuity check of the fuse between the on board charger/DC-DC converter (S terminal) connector and the 12V starter battery.
  • Perform the continuity check of the fuse.
OK: Continuity
Is the check result normal?
Go to Step 2.
Replace the fuse (Refer to GROUP 00 - How to Use Troubleshooting/Inspection Service Points - Inspection Service Points For A Blown Fuse ).

STEP 2. Check of open circuit and damage in S line between on board charger/DC-DC converter connector and 12V starter battery.
Is the check result normal?
Go to Step 3.
Repair the connector(s) or wiring harness.

STEP 3. Using scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), check whether the DTC is set.
Is the DTC set?
Replace the on board charger/DC-DC converter (Refer to ).
Intermittent malfunction (Refer to GROUP 00 - How to Use Troubleshooting/Inspection Service Points - How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunctions ).
