DIAGNOSIS
STEP 1. Using scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), diagnose CAN bus line.
  • Diagnose CAN bus line.
Is the CAN bus line normal?
Go to Step 2.
Repair CAN bus line (Refer to GROUP 54C - Troubleshooting - CAN Bus Diagnostics Table ).

STEP 2. Using scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), check whether the others DTC is set.
Check that the other ECU performing CAN communication with PHEV-ECU set DTC U1100 [Refer to GROUP 54C - CAN Communication-related Diagnosis Code (U-code) Table ].
Is the DTC set?
Replace the PHEV-ECU (Refer to GROUP 54Da - PHEV-ECU ). Then go to Step 4.
Go to Step 3.

STEP 3. Test the OBD-II drive cycle.
(1) Carry out a test drive with the drive cycle pattern. Refer to OBD-II Drive Cycle - Pattern 1 .
(2) Check the DTC.
Is the DTC set?
Replace the on board charger/DC-DC converter (Refer to ). Then go to Step 4.
Intermittent malfunction (Refer to GROUP 00 - How to Use Troubleshooting/Inspection Service Points - How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunctions ).

STEP 4. Test the OBD-II drive cycle.
(1) Carry out a test drive with the drive cycle pattern. Refer to OBD-II Drive Cycle - Pattern 1 .
(2) Check the DTC.
Is the DTC set?
Retry the troubleshooting.
The inspection is complete.
