  • When servicing the high voltage system parts, always shut off the high voltage by removing the service plug (Refer to ).
  • When servicing the high voltage system parts, always wear the protective equipment or armor to measure the high voltage (Refer to ).
cautionWhenever ECU is replaced, ensure that the CAN bus lines are normal.
 
 
DTC SET CONDITIONS
The PHEV-ECU sets DTC P101B or P101C when the quick charging contactor (P) or (N) is stuck.
note
  • If either of DTC P101B or P101C is set, the motor output will be restricted and quick charging will be disabled.
  • If DTC P101B and P101C are set simultaneously, "Ready" will be disabled.
  • If you disconnect or strike the quick charging connector during quick charging, DTC P1B02, P1B03 and P1AFE may be set simultaneously.
  • If the DTCs are set only when you use a certain quick charger, the quick charger may be faulty.
 
 
 
PROBABLE CAUSES
Malfunction of quick charging contactor (P) or (N).
 
 

 
 
DIAGNOSIS
STEP 1. Using scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), check whether the other DTC is set.
Check if any DTC [related quick charging contactor drive relay (P) or (N) (P1019, P101A, P102E, P102F, P1AF9, P1AFA, P1AFC, P1AFD, P1AFE, P1AFF, P1B00, P1B01, P1B02, P1B03, P1B74 or P1B76)] is set in the PHEV-ECU.
Is the DTC set?
Troubleshoot for the relevant DTC.
Go to Step 2.
 
STEP 2. Check the quick charge contactor (P) or (N).
Refer to .
Is the check result normal?
Intermittent malfunction (Refer to GROUP 00 - How to Use Troubleshooting/Inspection Service Points - How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunctions ).
Replace the quick charge contactor (P) or (N).
