STEP 1. Using scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), diagnose the CAN bus line.
STEP 2. Using scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), check the DTC.
STEP 3. Using scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), read the ASC system DTC.
STEP 4. Recheck for DTC.
Check again if the DTC is set in the camera-ECU.(1) Erase the DTC.
(2) Press the electric motor switch to turn the power supply mode from "OFF" to "ON."
(3) Check if DTC is set.
Is the DTC set?
Replace the PHEV-ECU. A poor connection, open circuit, or other intermittent malfunction in the CAN bus line between the camera-ECU and the PHEV-ECU. (Refer to GROUP 00 - How to Use Troubleshooting/Inspection Service Points - How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunction .)
STEP 5. Recheck for DTC.
Check again if the DTC is set in the camera-ECU.(1) Erase the DTC.
(2) Press the electric motor switch to turn the power supply mode from "OFF" to "ON."
(3) Check if DTC is set.
Is the DTC set?
