DTC C2330 Radar TEMP. (Out of guarantee)
 
 
cautionBefore replacing the ECU, ensure that the power supply circuit, the ground circuit and the communication circuit are normal.
 
 
OPERATION
The BSW-ECU (master) will be disabled when its internal temperature is out of the range [-40 to 85 °C (-40 to 185 °F)]. It will be enabled again when the temperature is within the range.
 
 
CHECK CONDITION
When all of the conditions below are satisfied:
  • Ignition switch is in the ON position.
  • BSW-ECU (master) system voltage is at 9-16 volts.
 
 
DIAGNOSTIC FUNCTION AND TROUBLE JUDGMENT
The BSW-ECU (master) will set DTC C2330 when all of the following conditions are satisfied:
  • Internal temperature in the BSW-ECU (master) is less than -40 °C (-40 °F).
  • Internal temperature in the BSW-ECU (master) is 85 °C (185 °F) or more.
 
 
TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS
  • Internal temperature in the BSW-ECU (master) is high or too low.
  • Malfunction of BSW-ECU (master)
 
 
 
DIAGNOSIS
Using scan tool (M.U.T.-III), read the BSW-ECU (master) DTC again.
Check again if the DTC is set in the BSW-ECU (master).

cautionTo prevent damage to scan tool (M.U.T.-III), always turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position before connecting or disconnecting scan tool (M.U.T.-III).
Connect scan tool (M.U.T.-III). Refer to "How to connect the Scan Tool (M.U.T.-III) ."
(2) Erase the DTC.
(3) Turn the ignition switch to "LOCK" (OFF) position and then wait for approximately 15 to 30 minutes until the BSW-ECU (master) remains at room temperature.
(4) Turn the ignition switch from the "LOCK" (OFF) position to the ON position.
(5) Check if the DTC is set.
Is the DTC set?
Replace the BSW-ECU (master).
A component protection has been triggered. This is not a malfunction.
