When a trouble is present to the power liftgate control unit, DTC No. B2488 is set.
JUDGMENT CRITERIA
When an abnormality is present to the EEPROM inside the power liftgate control unit, the power liftgate control unit determines that a problem has occurred.
PROBABLE CAUSES
Malfunction of the power liftgate control unit
DIAGNOSIS
Check whether the diagnostic trouble code is set again
(1) Clear all the DTC set in the power liftgate control unit.
(2) Operate the power liftgate.
(3) Check whether a DTC is set in the power liftgate control unit.
Is the DTC set?
Replace the power liftgate control unit.
