cautionDuring diagnosis, a diagnostic trouble code associated with other system may be stored when the ignition switch is turned on with connector(s) disconnected. On completion, confirm all systems for diagnostic trouble code(s). If diagnostic trouble code(s) are stored, erase them all.

noteThe vehicle is tuned so that the tight corner braking phenomenon appears at a certain level with the drive mode in the SNOW or LOCK position.

4WD system check screen is displayed on the center of the multi-information display and a "4WD" symbol flashes at the left top. But no diagnostic trouble codes are stored.4

When the ECO mode switch is turned on, the drive mode is not switched into AWC ECO mode.6
note*Tight corner braking phenomenon: When a AWD vehicle makes sharp cornering in a paved road at low speed (ex. parallel parking), there is a difference in turning radius between front and rear wheels. If such a difference can no longer be compensated by tire slippage, the vehicle behaves as if it is under braking.
