STEP 1. Resistance measurement at camera-ECU connector (GND terminal).
(1) Disconnect the connector, and measure at the wiring harness side.
(2) Measure the resistance between the camera-ECU connector (GND terminal) and body ground.OK: The resistance should be 2 ohms or less
Is the check result normal?
Go to Step 2

Repair the ground circuit.
STEP 2. Voltage measurement at camera-ECU connector (+B terminal).
(1) Disconnect the connector, and measure at the wiring harness side.
(2) Check the voltage between the camera-ECU connector (+B terminal) and body ground.OK: The voltage should measure approximately 12 volts (battery positive voltage)
Is the check result normal?
: Go to Step 4

STEP 3. Check of short to ground, and open circuit in +B line between camera-ECU and fusible link.
STEP 4. Voltage measurement at camera-ECU converter connector (ACC terminal).
(1) Disconnect the connector, and measure at the wiring harness side.
(2) Check the voltage between camera-ECU connector (ACC terminal) and body ground.OK: The voltage should measure approximately 12 volts (battery positive voltage)
Is the check result normal?
Go to Step 6

Go to Step 5

STEP 5. Check of short to ground, and open circuit in ACC line between fusible link and camera-ECU connector.
STEP 6. Retest the system.
