STEP 1. Using scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), check data list item 11: Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor (main).
STEP 2. Check the continuity at accelerator pedal position sensor harness side connector.
STEP 3. Check of open circuit and harness damage in APSE line between accelerator pedal position sensor connector and ECM connector.
STEP 4. Using scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), check data list item 11: Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor (main).
STEP 5. Replace the accelerator pedal position sensor.
STEP 6. Test the OBD-II drive cycle.
(1) Carry out a test drive with the drive cycle pattern. Refer to Diagnostic Function - OBD-II Drive Cycle - Pattern 1 . (2) Check the diagnostic trouble code (DTC).
Is DTC P2123 set?
Retry the troubleshooting. The inspection is complete.
