When replacing the ECU, always check that the communication circuit is normal.
DTC SET CONDITION
KOS&OSS-ECU stores DTC B1A24 when the key ID was not registered in it.
TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION (COMMENT)
KOS&OSS-ECU determines that the abnormality is present, if the key ID is not registered in it when the power supply mode of the engine switch is turned "ON".

DIAGNOSIS
STEP 1. Register the key ID.
Register the key ID and keyless operation key.
Is the key ID registration complete?
Go to Step 2.
Perform troubleshooting (Refer to ).
STEP 2. Recheck for diagnostic trouble code.
(1) Erase the DTC.
(2) Turn the power supply mode of the engine switch from "OFF" to "ON".
(3) Check if DTC is set.
(4) Turn the power supply mode of the engine switch from "ON" to "OFF".
Is the DTC set?
Replace KOS&OSS-ECU and register the ID codes (Refer to ).
