DTC B2401: F.A.S.T. key ID not registered
 
 
cautionWhen replacing the ECU, always check that the communication circuit is normal.
 
 
DTC SET CONDITION
If no keyless operation key ID or spare key ID is registered with KOS&OSS-ECU or a keyless operation key or a spare key with unregistered ID is used, the KOS&OSS-ECU stores DTC B2401.
 
 
TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION (COMMENT)
If the number of the registered keyless operation keys is 0, or the registration of a keyless operation key or spare key fails when the number of the registered keyless operation keys or spare key is 0, it is judged as abnormal.
 
 
TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS
  • The registration of a keyless operation key ID fails when no keyless operation key ID is registered.
  • Malfunction of KOS&OSS-ECU
 
 
DIAGNOSIS
STEP 1. Register the key ID.
Register the key ID and keyless operation key.
Is the key ID registration complete?
Go to Step 2.
Perform troubleshooting DTC B2400 is set (Refer to ).
 
STEP 2. Check whether the diagnostic trouble code is set again.
Replace the keyless operation key by which the diagnostic trouble code is set with a new one, register the key (Refer to ), and recheck if the diagnostic trouble code is set.
(1) Push the lock button or unlock button of keyless operation key.
(2) Check if the diagnostic trouble code is set.
Is the DTC set?
Replace KOS&OSS-ECU and register the ID codes (Refer to ).
The procedure is complete.
