Diagnosis Procedure
1.CHECK DTC PRIORITY
If DTC “C1F03-62” is displayed with Network-DTC, first diagnose the Network-DTC.
Is applicable DTC detected?
Perform diagnosis of applicable. Refer to DTC IndexDTC Index.

2.CHECK MI PILOT ASSIST STEERING SWITCH
  1. Turn the electric motor switch OFF.
  2. Disconnect the MI PILOT Assist steering switch connector.
  3. Check the MI PILOT Assist steering switch. Refer to Component Inspection.
Is the inspection result normal?
Replace the MI PILOT Assist steering switch.
 
3.CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN SPIRAL CABLE AND PHEV-ECU
  1. Disconnect the ECM connector.
  2. Check for continuity between the spiral cable harness connector and PHEV-ECU harness connector.

  3. Check for continuity between spiral cable harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?
Repair the harnesses or connectors.
 
4.CHECK SPIRAL CABLE
Check for continuity between spiral cable terminals.

Is the inspection result normal?
Replace the spiral cable.
 
5.PERFORM DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE OF PHEV-ECU
  1. Connect the connectors of MI PILOT Assist steering switch and PHEV-ECU connector.
  2. Turn the electric motor switch ON.
  3. Perform “Read All DTCs”.
  4. Check if any DTC is detected in "Diagnostic Trouble Code" of “PHEV”.
Is any DTC detected?
Perform Diagnostic Trouble Code on the detected DTC and repair or replace the malfunctioning parts. Refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART.
Replace the ADAS control unit 2. Refer to Removal and Installation.
