DTC DETECTION LOGIC
cautionWhen reading DTCs or communicating with ASC using Read All DTCs of the M.U.T.-IIISE, this DTC may be set as a past trouble. If this DTC is set due to the operation above, erase the DTC by "Diagnostic Trouble Code" of "EBA". Then check that this DTC is not set when reading DTC again and complete the diagnosis.

  • Electric motor switch ON
  • Power supply voltage is normal

ThresholdThe abnormal brake fluid signal is received from the ABS actuator and electric unit.
Diagnosis delay timeWithin 1 second
 
 
POSSIBLE CAUSE
noteConfirm that the DTC is stored DTC or active DTC. If the DTC is active DTC, proceed to trouble diagnosis procedure. If the DTC is stored DTC, erase the DTC. Do not replace the ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) if the DTC is stored DTC.

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.PRECONDITIONING
If “DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE” has been previously conducted, always turn the electric motor switch OFF (Auto ACC function OFF) before conducting the next test.

2.CHECK DTC DETECTION
M.U.T.-III SE
  1. Change the power supply mode of the electric motor switch to OFF (Auto ACC function OFF).
  2. Change the power supply mode of the electric motor switch is ON (READY indicator: ON)
  3. Execute “Diagnostic Trouble Code” for “EBA”.
Is DTC “C18F9-02” detected?
INSPECTION END
