POSSIBLE CAUSE
  • Electric driven intelligent brake unit
  • BCM
  • The wiring harness between the EBA-ECU and the 12V battery
  • The wiring harness between the EBA-ECU and the brake power backup unit.

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.PRECONDITIONING
If “DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE” has been previously conducted, always electric motor switch OFF (Auto ACC function OFF) before conducting the next test.

2.CHECK DTC DETECTION
M.U.T.-III SE
  1. Change the power supply mode of the electric motor switch to ON from OFF without depressing the brake pedal.
    cautionDo not set the vehicle to the READY status.
  2. Start the M.U.T.-III SE, then perform the Diagnostic Trouble Code of "EBA".
Is DTC “C18E7-13” detected?
