Diagnosis Procedure

1.CHECK REAR BRAKE COMPONENT PARTS

Disconnect 12V battery negative terminal.
Check rear brake component parts.
- Rear brake pad: Refer to Inspection and AdjustmentInspection and Adjustment.
- Rear brake caliper assembly and parking brake actuator: Refer to Inspection and AdjustmentInspection and Adjustment.
- Rear disc rotor: Refer to Inspection and AdjustmentInspection.

Is the inspection result normal?

Repair or replace error-detected parts.

2.PERFORM DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE

With M.U.T.-III SE

Is DTC “C10B9-77" detected?

-1"Active DTC" is displayed: Replace the ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit). Refer to Removal and Installation

-2“Stored DTC" is displayed: INSPECTION END (Erase the memory of Diagnostic Trouble Code results.)
