Diagnosis Procedure
1.CHECK PHEV-ECU SYSTEM
M.U.T.-IIISE
Perform Diagnostic Trouble Code for "PHEV".
Is DTC detected?
Check the set DTC. Refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART.
 
2.CHECK ABS ACTUATOR AND ELECTRIC UNIT (CONTROL UNIT) POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT
Check the ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) power supply and ground circuit. Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
Is the inspection result normal?
Repair / replace harness, connector, terminal, fuse, or fusible link.
 
3.CHECK CONNECTOR AND TERMINAL
  1. Disconnect 12V battery negative terminal.
  2. Disconnect the PHEV-ECU harness connector.
  3. Disconnect ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) harness connector.
  4. Check the connector for disconnection or looseness.
  5. Check the terminals for damage or loose connection with harness connector.
Is the inspection result normal?
Repair / replace harness or connector, securely lock the connector.
 
4.PERFORM DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE
M.U.T.-IIISE
  1. Connect the PHEV-ECU harness connector.
  2. Connect the ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) harness connector.
  3. Connect the battery negative terminal.
  4. Erase the DTC set in "ABS".
  5. Change the power supply mode of the electric motor switch to OFF (Auto ACC function OFF).
  6. Change the power supply mode of the electric motor switch is ON (READY indicator: ON)
    noteWait at least 10 seconds after change the electric motor switch to ON,
  7. Perform Diagnostic Trouble Code for “ABS".
Is DTC detected?
Check the set DTC. Refer to DTC Index.
