CHECKING FUNCTION, WEAR AND DAMAGE OF MASTER CYLINDER AND BRAKE CALIPER
 
 
CHECKING FOR WEAR, DAMAGE AND LEAKAGE
1. Check that there is no damage or leakage on the master cylinder by checking it visually or touching it.
2. Raise the vehicle.
3. Remove the tire
4. Check that there is no damage or leakage on the master cylinder by checking it visually or touching it.
5. Check that the mounting bolts of the brake caliper and knuckle are not damaged or loosened.
6. When disassembling the brake caliper, visually check that there is no wear, damage, corrosion and deterioration on the caliper body, piston, piston seal and piston boot. (Disassembling front caliper: Refer to Disassembly and Assembly. Disassembling rear caliper: Refer to Disassembly and Assembly.)
7. Check that the bleeder cap is not dropped by visually checking it or touching it.
 
 
 
BRAKE PEDAL CHECK
Check the play of the brake pedal, the clearance at the floor when depressing the brake pedal, and the brake force.
