DTC SET CONDITION

Check Condition

During the BMU operation

Judgment Criterion <DTC No. U2142-81>

The data length error of the CAN signal received from the power drive unit is detected.

Judgment Criterion <DTC No. U2142-82>

The invalid CAN signal received from the power drive unit is detected.

Judgment Criterion <DTC No. U2142-83>

The CRC error of the CAN signal received from the power drive unit is detected.

DIAGNOSIS

Required Special Tools:

MB992744: Vehicle communication interface-Lite (V.C.I.-Lite)
MB992745: V.C.I.-Lite main harness A
MB992747: V.C.I.-Lite USB cable short
MB992748: V.C.I.-Lite USB cable long

1.Check whether the DTC is set again.

Is the DTC set?

Replace the power drive unit (Refer to POWER DRIVE UNIT REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Disassemble the drive battery (Refer to SERVICE PROCEDURE

). After the disassembly, replace the BMU (Refer to BATTERY MANAGEMENT UNIT (BMU) REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
