DTC No. P0AA6-00 Insulation Resistance Drop Detection Diagnosis
 
 
 
 
DTC SET CONDITION
Check Condition
  • During BMU activation (except when the quick charge connector is connected)
Judgment Criterion
  • The low insulation resistance is detected.
 
 
TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS
  • The low insulation resistance of the high voltage system
 
 
DIAGNOSIS
Required Special Tools:
  • MB992744: Vehicle communication interface-Lite (V.C.I.-Lite)
  • MB992745: V.C.I.-Lite main harness A
  • MB992747: V.C.I.-Lite USB cable short
  • MB992748: V.C.I.-Lite USB cable long
1.Check of other system DTC
Check whether the PHEV-ECU, PHEV A/C amplifier, power drive unit, REMCU, OBC/DC-DC converter set the DTC.
Is the DTC set?
Troubleshoot the set DTCs.
 
2.Check whether the DTC is set again.
Perform the diagnosis procedures for DTC No. P0AA6-00 (Refer to DIAGNOSIS CHART FOR DTC No. P0AA6-00).
Is the DTC set?
Determine the faulty part by following the "Inspection procedures when BMU P0AA6-00: Insulation Resistance Drop Detection Diagnosis is set." (Refer to DIAGNOSIS CHART FOR DTC No. P0AA6-00) and deal with it.
The trouble can be an intermittent malfunction (Refer to General Information - How to Use Troubleshooting/Inspection Service Points, How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunctions HOW TO COPE WITH INTERMITTENT MALFUNCTIONS).
