DTC SET CONDITION
Check Condition
  • IGCT power supply is ON
Judgment Criterion <DTC No.P3077-1C>
  • The interlock open status of the service lid is detected.
Judgment Criterion <DTC No.P3078-1C>
  • The interlock circuit malfunction of the service lid is detected.
noteThe DTC may be set when the service lid is opened.
 
 
TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS
  • Malfunction of the service lid
  • Malfunction of the power drive unit
 
 
DIAGNOSIS
Required Special Tools:
  • MB992744: Vehicle communication interface-Lite (V.C.I.-Lite)
  • MB992745: V.C.I.-Lite main harness A
  • MB992747: V.C.I.-Lite USB cable short
  • MB992748: V.C.I.-Lite USB cable long
1.Check the installation condition of the service lid.

  • Carry out the check on the high-voltage circuit while reading carefully the precautions on handling a high-voltage vehicle.
  • Wear the specified protection equipment during the check.
Check the installation condition, such as whether the service lid is installed with specified torque (Refer to POWER DRIVE UNIT REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION).
Is the check result normal?
Install the service lid properly.
 
2.Check whether the DTC is set again.
Is the DTC set?
Replace the service lid (Refer to POWER DRIVE UNIT REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION). Then, go to .
The trouble can be an intermittent malfunction (Refer to General Information - How to Use Troubleshooting/Inspection Service Points, How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunctions HOW TO COPE WITH INTERMITTENT MALFUNCTIONS).
 
3.Check whether the DTC is set again.
Is the DTC set?
Replace the power drive unit (Refer to POWER DRIVE UNIT REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION).
