DTC No. P1574-62 Vehicle Speed Sensor "ASCD"
 
 
 
 
DTC SET CONDITION
Check Condition
  • Cruise control, speed limiter or ACC function is in operation.
Judgment Criterion
  • The vehicle speed calculated from the FEMCU front motor speed, and vehicle speed calculated from the wheel speed are different.
 
 
TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS
  • Malfunction of the ABS actuator and electric unit
  • Malfunction of the power drive unit system
  • Malfunction of the PHEV-ECU
 
 
DIAGNOSIS
Required Special Tools:
  • MB992744: Vehicle communication interface-Lite (V.C.I.-Lite)
  • MB992745: V.C.I.-Lite main harness A
  • MB992747: V.C.I.-Lite USB cable short
  • MB992748: V.C.I.-Lite USB cable long
1.M.U.T.-IIISE other system DTC
Check whether the ABS actuator and electric unit sets the DTC.
Is the DTC set?
Troubleshoot the set DTC (Refer to Brake Control System - DTC Index DTC Index).
 
2.M.U.T.-IIISE other system DTC
Check whether the power drive unit sets the DTC.
Is the DTC set?
Troubleshoot the set DTC [Refer to Electric Motor Control Unit (EMCU) and Motor (Electric Motor Unit) - Troubleshooting DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART].
 
3.Check whether the DTC is set again.
(1) Erase the set DTC.
(2) Turn on the cruise control, speed limiter, or ACC function.
(3) Check whether the DTC is set again.
Is the DTC set?
Replace the PHEV-ECU (Refer to PHEV-ECU REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION).
