1.Steering switch check
Check the steering switch (Refer to Driver Assistance System - ADAS Control Unit, C1F03-23 Operation SW Circ, Component Inspection Component Inspection).
Is the check result normal?
Replace the steering switch (Refer to Steering System - Steering Wheel ).

2.Check of continuity at steering switch connector (CRCG terminal)
(1) Disconnect the connector, and measure at the wiring harness side.
(2) Check the continuity between the steering switch connector (CRCG terminal) and body ground.
OK: Continuity exists (2 Ω or less)
Is the check result normal?

3.Check of open circuit in CRCG line between PHEV-ECU and steering switch
Is the check result normal?
Repair the connector(s) or wiring harness. Or replace the spiral cable (Refer to SRS Airbag - Spiral Cable ).

4.Check of short to ground circuit and open circuit in CRCX line between PHEV-ECU and steering switch
Is the check result normal?
Repair the connector(s) or wiring harness. Or replace the spiral cable (Refer to SRS Airbag - Spiral Cable ).

5.Check wiring harness and connectors for damage.
Check the wiring harness and connectors in CRCX line between the PHEV-ECU connector and steering switch connector for damage.
Is the check result normal?
Repair the connector(s) or wiring harness.

6.Check the trouble symptom.
Check that the MI PILOT works normally.
noteWhen the trouble continues, the cruise control can not be turned ON. Therefore, you can not check that the DTC is set again.
Is the check result normal?
The trouble can be an intermittent malfunction (Refer to General Information - How to Use Troubleshooting/Inspection Service Points, How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunctions HOW TO COPE WITH INTERMITTENT MALFUNCTIONS).
Replace the PHEV-ECU (Refer to PHEV-ECU REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION).
