Diagnosis Procedure
1.CHECK IGNITION RELAY-2 CONTROL SIGNAL VOLTAGE
  1. Ignition switch OFF.
  2. Disconnect BCM connector.
  3. Check voltage between BCM harness connector and ground.
    +-Voltage

Is the inspection result normal?
Replace BCM. Refer to Removal and Installation.
 
2.CHECK IGNITION RELAY-2 CONTROL SIGNAL CIRCUIT (OPEN)
  1. Remove ignition relay-2.
  2. Check continuity between BCM harness connector and fuse block (J/B) terminal.

Is the inspection result normal?
Repair the harness or connector.
 
3.CHECK IGNITION RELAY-2 CONTROL SIGNAL CIRCUIT (SHORT TO GROUND)
Check continuity between BCM harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?
Repair the harness or connector.
 
4.CHECK IGNITION RELAY-2
Check ignition relay-2. Refer to Component Inspection.
Is the inspection result normal?
INSPECTION END
Replace ignition relay-2.
