Diagnosis Procedure
1.CHECK COMBINATION SWITCH CIRCUIT FOR SHORT TO BATTERY
  1. Ignition switch OFF.
  2. Disconnect combination switch connector and BCM connectors.
  3. Check voltage between combination switch harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

Repair or replace harness or connectors.
 
2.PERFORM “DATA MONITOR” OF BCM (COMB SW)
With M.U.T.-III SE
  1. Connect combination switch connector and BCM connectors.
  2. Perform “Data List” of BCM to check for any malfunctioning item.  Refer to Symptom Table.
Is the inspection result normal?
Replace combination switch. Refer to Removal and Installation.
Replace BCM. Refer to Removal and Installation.
