Diagnosis Procedure
1.CHECK SELF-DIAGNOSIS RESULT
With M.U.T.-III SE
  1. Ignition switch ON
  2. Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “IPDM E/R” using M.U.T.-III SE.
  3. Check if DTC "B20A2–87" is displayed with DTC "B20A4–87".
Is applicable DTC detected?

2.CHECK HEADLIGHT RH LIN COMMUNICATION CIRCUIT 1
  1. Ignition switch OFF.
  2. Disconnect following connectors.
    • Front combination light RH
    • Front combination light LH
    • IPDM E/R
  3. Check continuity between front combination light RH harness connector and IPDM E/R harness connector.

  4. Check continuity between IPDM E/R harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?
Replace IPDM E/R. Refer to Removal and Installation.
Repair or replace harness.
 
3.CHECK HEADLIGHT RH FUSE
  1. Ignition switch OFF.
  2. Check that the following fuse is not blown (open).

    Front combination light RHK30 A
Is the fuse blown (open)?
Replace the blown (open) fuse after repairing the affected circuit if a fuse is blown (open).

4.CHECK HEADLIGHT RH POWER SUPPLY
  1. Disconnect front combination light RH connector
  2. Check voltage between front combination light RH harness connector and ground.
    +-Voltage
    Front combination light RH

Is the inspection result normal?

Repair or replace harness.
 
5.CHECK HEADLIGHT RH GROUND CIRCUIT
Check continuity between front combination light RH harness connector and ground.

Repair or replace harness.
 
6.CHECK HEADLIGHT RH CONTROL SIGNAL
  1. Ignition switch ON.
  2. Check voltage between front combination light RH harness connector and ground.
    +-Voltage
    Front combination light RH

    E1105Ground6 – 16 V
Is the inspection result normal?

7.CHECK HEADLIGHT RH CONTROL SIGNAL CIRCUIT
  1. Ignition switch OFF.
  2. Disconnect IPDM E/R connector.
  3. Check continuity between front combination light RH harness connector and IPDM E/R harness connector.

Is the inspection result normal?
Replace IPDM E/R. Refer to Removal and Installation.
Repair or replace harness.
 
8.CHECK HEADLIGHT RH LIN COMMUNICATION CIRCUIT 2
  1. Ignition switch OFF.
  2. Disconnect IPDM E/R connector.
  3. Check continuity between front combination light RH harness connector and IPDM E/R harness connector.

Is the inspection result normal?
Replace headlight RH. Refer to Removal and Installation.
Repair or replace harness.
