REMOVAL SERVICE POINT
<<A>> LIFTGATE GARNISH REMOVAL
1. Use a socket wrench to remove clips A shown in the figure by pushing them from the inside of the vehicle.
2. Disconnect clips B shown in the figure from the liftgate garnish bracket by using the ornament remover (Special tool: MB990784).
3. Remove the other clips, and remove the liftgate garnish.

caution
When installing the liftgate garnish, roll up the liftgate lower dam and secure it by a tape as shown to avoid trapping it.
