DTC Detection Condition

(Power liftgate/trunk opener switch)
Diagnosis condition Ignition switch ON.
Signal (terminal)Power liftgate opener switch signal (BCM connector terminal: 98)
ThresholdWhen the BCM detects the open or shorted circuit of the power liftgate opener switch
Diagnosis delay time1 second or less
 
 
POSSIBLE CAUSE
  • Power liftgate opener switch
  • Harness or connectors (power liftgate opener switch circuit is open or shorted)
  • BCM

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.CHECK SELF-DIAG RESULT
With M.U.T.-III SE
  1. Ignition switch ON.
  2. Check “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “BCM” using M.U.T.-III SE.
Is DTC detected?
